The Admissions Counselor will advise potential transfer and RN to BSN students regarding admissions requirements, University policies, procedures, transfer credits, and other educational opportunities. The Admissions Counselor will also assess, review and evaluate college transcripts to ensure eligibility to enter nursing programs. Required: A Bachelor's Degree and one (1) years of experience directly related to student services. A Master's degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Must have or be able to obtain at time of hire a valid unrestricted driver's license. Preferred: Experience in developing and maintaining computerized record systems and information management. Previous experience working in higher education. Experience recruiting prospective students. Experience providing academic advising to students. Experience evaluating and analyzing college transcripts. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.. To apply please see www.wsujobs.com.
