Medical Career Instructor-Immediate Openings (Spokane)

American Institute of Medical Careers is looking for bright self-motivated team players to join are family of professional medical career instructors.
Minimum qualifications:
- 3 years as a licensed nurse
- Current Washington State Licensed Practical Nursing License
- Ability to obtain approval as a Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor approval
- Must have 1 year within the last 3 years of caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age or both
- Dedication to professionalism
- Ability to manage time efficiently
Preferred qualification/experience:
- Experience instructing or teaching adults
- Experience in a variety of healthcare settings (long term care, emergency,peds,ect)
Duties:
- Instruct Washington State and DSHS approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program using established curriculum.
- Instruct CNA Curriculum through lecture, group activities, student exercises, demonstration, video and PowerPoint presentations
- Instruct WA State approved HIV/AIDS Education
- Co-instruct other institute programs such as Emergency Medical Technician
- Participate in further institute training opportunities
- Oversee students during clinical experience phase of program
- Participate in student career coaching and guidance program
- Maintain student and program records using established system
- Participate in current and future institute program development
