Billing Specialist (Spokane)

The key responsibilities for this position are to process private insurance billing, assist with Idaho billing, and to train Administrative Assistants and Branch Managers on the Idaho billing and private insurance billing process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Private Insurance Billing: Process claims, work with providers and follow up on payments.
Idaho Billing: Assist with the input of Idaho billing into the Idaho state software system on a weekly basis. Maintain consistent communication with the branches on items that are not authorized or have been denied until resolution in a timely manner.
Training: Train all Administrative Assistants and Branch Managerss on the processes regarding Idaho and Private Insurance billing. Participate in continuous training in the form of having the ability to answer questions and reinforce current policies in a professional manner.
AP Data Entry and Review: Assist with the input of accounts payable invoices into Solomon accounting software system and review invoices for proper coding and authorization.
Payroll: Learn payroll processing for 5 entities with ADP. Review timesheets and reports for accuracy. Assist with garnishment processing, labor reports, employee questions and processing new hires, terms, changes.
Employee expenses: Assist with the preparation of employee expense reports for processing and input into ADP. Review for complete and accurate information, total multiple reports, and verify calculations.
Other Duties: Assist with other office and accounting duties as requested.
Cross Training: Potential cross training on other accounting processes in the company.
