Business Development Team Member -- Small Growing SaaS Company (Spokane) Full-time

Position Summary:



PayTrace is looking for a candidate to join its Business Development team, reporting to the Director of Business Development. This will be a work-from-home position based either in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area or in the Spokane area. There will be some travel required to trade shows, sales meetings and company events, but it will not exceed 20% and often will be less.



The candidate that fills this position will work closely with the Director of Business Development to cover a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including managing relationships with current resellers, providing product training to resellers, developing marketing materials, responding to new reseller leads, and providing product demonstrations to prospective resellers. Additionally, the candidate that fills this position will help gather feedback from the marketplace to guide product development and forecast future market needs.



We're looking for a team player that takes pride in their work, has a high level of integrity, can work well independently or in a group setting, and has polished communication and presentation skills. At PayTrace we take a consultive sales approach, which isn't a good fit with big egos or a hunt/kill mentality. However, we do need you to be highly accountable and driven to make PayTrace a better company.



Required Qualifications:



• Ability to confidently interact with our Resellers' Senior Management.

• Ability to effectively interact with our Resellers' outside sales people.

• Polished communication and presentation skills.

• 5+ years of account management, customer support, or sales experience.

• A track record of high-integrity as demonstrated by strong references.

• Ability to be accountable, industrious, and effective in an independent work environment.

• An open communicator and team player.

• Take pride in your work with a high level of attention to detail.

• Flexibility and eagerness to learn and work on multiple tasks as needed.

• The ability to work from a quiet home office that has a high speed internet connection.

• Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• A Bachelor's degree.



Potential Positive Differentiators:



• Experience selling or supporting software and ideally SaaS solutions.

• Experience in the merchant services industry.

• Experience in the ecommerce industry.

• Experience working with Value Added Reseller channels.

• Business to Business sales or support experience.



Compensation:



Primarily Salary Based; DOE

Bonus Potential
