POSITIVE & SELF MOTIVATED TRAVEL COORDINATOR/ADMIN. ASSISTANT WANTED! (Spokane Valley)

Our company, a leader in the development of health, fitness and nutrition curricula for our nation's schools, is looking for a Travel Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to create and manage frequent travel arrangements for our trainer staff, as well as support the needs of our growing home office. WE ARE SEARCHING FOR:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of administrative and travel coordination experience;
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Internet and general office equipment;
Strong decision making and teamwork skills;
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal abilities with both associates and customers;
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and assimilate new information;
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, set up and coordination of trainings, conferences and events;
Create and maintain training schedules, as well as multiple spreadsheets, physical and electronic calendars;
Schedule, book and monitor trips for multiple travelers, including flights, car rentals and hotel accommodations, with timely confirmations obtained by phone, email and/or fax;
Prepare and distribute trip itineraries and travel documents to travelers accurately and on time;
Provide timely assistance to travelers regarding expense reports;
Research, negotiate and ensure preferred pricing and cost effective travel arrangements to guarantee that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget;
Define, document and manage all operating procedures, contracts and billing related to training and travel;
Perform general reception duties, answer and route phone calls and perform a variety of clerical functions;
Other Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to staff members with exposure to confidential and/or sensitive information;
Assist with tracking, ordering and inventory control of company equipment, apparel and office supplies;
Identify and learn appropriate curricula, software and hardware utilized by the organization;
Foster positive, trusting relationships with clients, trainers, management and office employees;
