Airobics instructor (Spokane, WA)

Sky High Sports is looking for an instructor to lead our Airobics program in our Spokane, WA facility.
Classes are held 3 days per week. We have 1 session on Saturday mornings from 10am-11am, and 2 sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-7pm and 7pm-8pm.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The AIRobics Instructor's job is to lead a unique, high energy exercise class on the Sky High trampolines. The AIRobics Instructor will actively teach and participate in exercises and is expected to be
motivational, fun and energetic. Instructors are required to teach two consecutive 50 minute classes and
maintain the same high energy throughout. We encourage safety and customer service and this particular job is
no exception.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On Court:
1. Responsible for teaching exercises and leading exercise class
2. Responsible for knowing all rules for all the courts and reciting accurate reasons for them when needed
3. Responsible for knowing the wristband times and ALWAYS checking for proper wristbands
4. Prompt response to injuries (calling for ice or manager) and following procedures in an emergency
5. Respond to problems and know when to call a manager for assistance
Off Court
1. Respond to questions from customers about waivers, pricing, and general company information
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in birthday party "shout-outs."
2. Periodic administrative responsibilities (e.g. filing)
3. Other duties as required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: N/A
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience leading exercise classes or customer service a plus, but not
required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
1. You must be in excellent physical condition with strong knees, back and ankles, and definitely a strong
heart.
2. Ability to jump and instruct for long periods of time on uneven surfaces
3. Ability to work around dust and foam
4. Customer focused with excellent communication skills
5. Team oriented
