Medical Billing Specialist (North Spokane)

Are you a Medical Billing Specialist Superstar with at least 2-3 years' work experience? Were you laid off from your last job or currently receiving unemployment? Then you may be a good fit for one of two open positions we are searching for.
We have two openings. One in a Medical Facility and another in a Medical Office. Pay range DOE.
Medical Billing Specialist Description:
Responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments. Responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Knowledge and education in medical billing/collection practices.
Knowledge of ICD-9 codes, CPT codes, and insurance coding rules about using modifiers.
Knowledge and education in medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the public.
Experience in Accounts Receivable and denied claims
Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
Medicare and Medicaid Billing Experience a plus!
CBCS, CMBP, or CMRS certifications highly preferred!
