Business Account Executive (Spokane, WA)

A national commercial credit organization is seeking a qualified person to fulfill the position of Business Account Executive in its regional affiliate office in Spokane.
An ideal Account Executive will introduce products, services, and programs to prospective customers and proactively execute a development program and communication strategy to generate quality leads for new business. Account Executive will provide exceptional in-house customer service on a daily basis to existing customer base. Some travel required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exceptional customer care on a daily basis providing assistance with in-depth knowledge of products and/or services available and being able to judge where those fit into the customer's program
Collaborate with management to develop strategic sales plan that enables reaching established sales goals.
Generate a pipeline through nurturing and qualifying leads, prospecting, cold calling and face to face meetings of potential clientele.
Following up with existing customers continuously, responding to inquiries through calls, emails, and/or letters
Manage and maintain tracking of business development opportunities
Assist with other Account Executives to develop direct mailings, samples and other marketing/sales activities as needed
Periodic travel to customer locations, industry meetings and conferences, and other business related locations. Seeks to extend relationships, learning, and improved understanding of industry.
Complete special projects as designated by management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
Desire and ability to learn about customer's market and credit approval business processes
Ability to learn, understand, and articulate all business products and services to prospective and current clientele.
Superior communication skills with the ability to interact well with personnel within the organization. Effective interpersonal skills required with the desire to build strong business relationships
Effective time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects and excel in a results-oriented work environment
Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to present information in a professional manner
An understanding of business/commercial credit is required and a knowledge of mortgage credit would be beneficial.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power Point
