Merchandiser (Spokane)

Thank you for your interest in our Part Time Merchandiser position for the Spokane area.
Let me provide you with additional details about the position. The route for this position includes Albertsons, Safeways, Walmart,and Fred Meyers stores in Spokane weekly. On average the route requires approximately 8 to 10 hours per week. I've listed below a summary of the duties performed at each store and the timeframe in which they are to be completed.
Causal Scanning
We are looking for someone to call on Fred Meyer every Monday or Tuesday. Duties would include gathering data through a hand held scanner. We gather product data throughout the store, at various shelf heights, minimal lifting required. Responsibilities may also include auditing our magazines and moving them from slow checkouts to busy checkouts, if warranted. We have additional tasks to be completed while in the store. This work needs to be completed Monday 10AM to Tuesday closing at Fred Myers. Each store takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hrs. too complete.
Frontline
We complete this task at all stores except Walmart and Fred Myers, 3 out of every 4 weeks. Duties include: Week 1 - assembly of small cardboard display boxes, filling the display boxes with product from store shelves, hanging the displays on poles located at checkouts and floor display in the pharmacy area. Each store takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
Weeks 2 & 3 -- we restock displays previously put up, filling with additional product if necessary. Each store takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. This work can be completed any day of the week at Albertsons and Safeway.
To succeed in this position you must be able to work independently, able to manage your schedule so all tasks are completed in a timely manner, have reliable transportation and home internet for transmission of work and E-Mail.
