Network Technician
/ Systems Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Consulting is an established IT support company in the greater Spokane /Coeur
d'Alene area. We are seeking an
applicant for a full time Network Technician / Systems Administrator position.
Successful applicants will be able to perform the following tasks:

-         
Install new / rebuild existing servers and
configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

-         
Develop and maintain installation and
configuration procedures.

-         
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the
integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key
processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of
scheduled jobs such as backups.

-         
Provide Tier II/other support per request from
various constituencies.  Investigate and troubleshoot issues.

-         
Repair and recover from hardware or software
failures.  Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.

-         
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity
issues.

HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:

-         
Monday
through Friday, 40+ hours per week.

-         
Responsibilities sometimes require working
evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-         
Associates (2-year) degree, with a technical
major, such as engineering or computer science.

-         
MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, Network+, A+

-         
3 to 5 years of relevant experience

-         
Must
have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
