We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our precision sheet-metal fabrication company. The Quality Inspector will perform and complete daily product and process inspection tasks, and will also support in-process inspection of product within all manufacturing areas. In addition, the Quality Inspector will assist in the quality management system auditing and implementing continual improvement projects.



Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

1. Product Inspection

2. Process Inspection (during production)

3. Job / Work Order Accuracy

4. First Article Inspection

5 .Investigate Product Non Conformances

6. Maintain Integrity of Inspection Area

7. Quality System Audits (Member of Internal Audit Team)

8. Manufacturing Support



Position Requirements:

Education: Some college desirable or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience: Experience in sheet-metal manufacturing processes (>3 years preferred). Experience in sheet-metal inspecting (>2 years preferred)

Knowledge: Sheet metal production fabrication processes, use of standard measuring tools, Quality Management Systems (i.e. ISO9000) highly desirable.

Skills: Good communication, able to manage and perform multiple tasks, collecting data, tactful, organized.
