Kaizen Assembly is currently seeking a part time industrial engineer to add to our team of lean manufacturing professionals. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing setting and experienced in implementing lean concepts such as: 5S, Kanban, Single Piece Flow, Total Productive Maintenance, and various other continuous improvement tools. Must have solid project management skills, be able to lead teams under pressure, and have good communication skills. IE will also be required to conduct time studies, balance production lines, create standard operating procedures, design production lines. Must have CAD experience as well.



Travel is required and person must be able to work in a very dynamic often ever changing schedule. Position is part time to start to see if candidate will fit in. 25-30 hours a week on average. College degree in operations management, manufacturing or industrial engineering is required. If you are interested in this position, please send us your resume. Company headquarters is in Bellingham and we are expanding into the Spokane area this year. Salary will be $30K-$37K + profit sharing to start and as projects increase, salary will increase.
