To fill immediate faculty position:



American Institute of Medical Careers is looking for a bright self-motivated team player to join our family of professional medical career instructors. Seeking Instructor for part-time, full-time and on-call positions.



Qualifications:



- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience

- Minimum of one year experience within the past three years in caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill of any age.

- Current Washington State Licensed Practical Nursing License

- Ability to obtain approval as an Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor

- Dedication to professionalism

- Ability to manage time efficiently

- Computer skills to include Microsoft Powerpoint, Excell, and Word.



Preferred qualification/experience:



- Experience instructing or teaching adults

- Experience in a variety of healthcare settings (long term care, emergency,peds,ect)



Duties:



- Instruct Washington State and DSHS approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program using established curriculum.

- Instruct CNA Curriculum through lecture, group activities, student exercises, demonstration, video and PowerPoint presentations

- Co-instruct other institute programs

- Instruct WA State approved HIV/AIDS Education

- Participate in further institute training opportunities

- Oversee students during clinical experience phase of program

- Participate in student career coaching and guidance program

- Maintain student and program records using established system

- Participate in current and future institute program development
