This position is responsible for managing the Human Resources functions at the site and providing leadership to the site HR staff, account/site directors and operations managers/supervisors. Works with the management/leadership personnel at the site to facilitate employee related initiatives to implement improvements, changes and/or resolve issues that lead to success of the business. Assists HR management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR activities. Responsible for administering implementation of several human resources functions such as employment, recruiting, staffing, labor relations, state and federal law compliance, compensation, equal employment/affirmative action plan, records, safety and health, benefits and employee services.
Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum of five years of Human Resources management experience with multiple direct reports.
• Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related field, HRIC certification and/or equivalent experience
• Knowledge & understanding of employment law
• Coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills
• Understanding of benefits and compensation plan
• Proven customer service skills and communications skills
• Good organizational skills.
• Proven computer skills in using Microsoft products – spreadsheets, documents, presentations.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
