Manufacturing Engineer/Tooling Design (ID) Full-time

Manufacturing Engineer Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing improvements to tooling and processes. Along with this, project management will be required, including capital expenditure justification, equipment and process design and development, project spending, project time lines, and resource management. Find ways to reduce cost and improve manufacturing techniques. Must be able to review tools and machine part drawings in order to revise tolerances, surface dimensions, and material selection. Ability to resolve production issues, difficulties, and metal forming process issues. Experience in a machine shop, with CNC machining, and operation of machinery to manufacture tooling is required.
Required Skills:
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING IS REQUIRED
2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT
METALLURGICAL EXPERIENCE WITH METAL FORMING PROCESSES
FAMILIARITY WITH HIGH VOLUME MANUFACTURING REQUIRED
HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH SIX SIGMA TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES
LEAN MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH ENERGETICS Location: ID
