American Indian Specialized Probation & Parole Officers

The Montana Department of Corrections will be filling five specialized American Indian probation and parole positions. These positions will provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen partnerships with Indian tribes in Montana and reduce the recidivism among American Indians.

The positions will be located in:

• Hardin: Serving the Northern Cheyenne and Crow Reservations

• Havre: Serving the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy’s Reservations

• Polson: Serving the Flathead Reservation

• Cut Bank: Serving the Blackfeet Reservation

• Glasgow: Serving the Fort Peck Reservation
