Membership Director (Post Falls, ID)

The membership sales director is responsible for recruiting new members and retaining existing ones. In addition, the membership sales director will be responsible for sales of various advertising opportunities to members under the direction of the President/CEO. These duties are assigned to assist and support the President & CEO and the members of the Board of Directors in meeting goals and objectives of the organization.
The individual who fills this position must possess:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• The ability to provide information to a wide range of internal and external contacts/customers
• Self-directed and a team player
• Skillful time management
• Efficient follow-through
• Demonstrated direct marketing successes
• Experience in business-to-business sales and territory management preferred
• Knowledge and familiarity of the surrounding business community
• A high school diploma or equivalent
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Market and sell new memberships in Post Falls and the surrounding areas.
2. Setting goals for and organizing sales drives.
3. Provide on-going quality customer service to members for retention purposes and to ensure membership renewal. Participate in before and after work networking functions
4. Work with CEO to develop a membership outreach committee to implement membership retention program.
5. Calling members whose dues are 60 days in arrears to encourage them to rejoin.
6. Assist with preparation of monthly reports for the board on new and deleted members.
7. Prepare spread sheet of prospective members, follow up, join or decline. Report to CEO.
8. Sell annual advertising
This position is a Commission Based opportunity with residual earning for 2nd and 3rd year memberships. Renewal memberships commission, various advertising commission, and a reasonable expense reimbursement plan.
