ALK Abello’ Source Materials, Inc., (ASM) a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello’ group of companies, is recruiting for our open Logistics Manager position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our new 80,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the entire product supply chain from the customer requirements to customer delivery, including the organization’s purchasing function. This position will also manage all aspects of customer relations for ALK and non-ALK sites. The Logistics Manager will also increase outside sales and ensure sales forecasts are established and integrated into product requirements and production schedules. While there is a sales aspect to this position, the primary function is that of Logistics and Materials Management. The position will also have primary administration responsibility for the sales and logistics elements of the ERP system and be a MRP Super User when SAP is implemented.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or a related field and 4 to 6 years experience in Logistics at a professional or management level in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment. CPIM Certification preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems are a must, SAP experience preferred. Also, a demonstrated understanding of Lean principles is required.
All positions require the ability to work around hazardous chemicals and allergenic antigens.
