ALK Abello’ Source Materials, Inc., (ASM) a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello’ group of companies, is recruiting for our open Production Specialist position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our new 80,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Production Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise within the production department on both process and documentation matters. This position works closely with Production Supervisors, the Production Manager, Technicians and support departments in improving manufacturing efficiencies and product quality through continuous improvement, process development, audits, CAPA, etc. The Production Specialist is also responsible for reviewing batch records and quality forms for accuracy and completeness prior to review by the quality unit for product release and keeps metrics on errors for these reviews and provides feedback to the department supervisor and technician leads to make improvements.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or a related field and 4 to 10 years experience working in a GMP regulated environment. The position also requires the ability to work with Quality Systems and regulatory requirements such as: IMEA, ICH, GMP, FDA, OSHA, European Authority. Also, demonstrated ability to lead projects and project teams with little supervision is a must.
All positions require the ability to work around hazardous chemicals and allergenic antigens.
