Seeking local Children's Book Illustrator to do inexpensive illustrations for first time author. Manuscript has not yet been accepted by a publisher, but would like some sample illustrations to provide to potential publishers. Book is from a puppy's perspective on adjusting to a new home, going to puppy class and growing up. Would like to use a small freelance local artist and would like to see samples of artist's style, (watercolor, pen and ink, etc...) then meet in person to work out details and share specific illustrators notes. I am not on a strict timeline, but on a limited budget. If you enjoy illustrating, this would be a great opportunity for both of us! Location: Spokane, WA
Compensation: Based on a per illustration amount to be agreed upon at start of project
